The Riviera Association’s purpose is to help maintain and enhance the distinctive character of the Riviera neighborhood in Santa Barbara and the quality of life of our residents.  The Association works to educate members about ways in which we can collectively improve our neighborhoods and maintain public safety, focusing on areas such as zoning, density, policing, roadways, utilities, traffic safety, fire protection, and land use.

If you are a current member or interested in becoming one, we hope you will find this site useful. It is our intention to keep you informed on all issues of importance to Riviera residents.  Please feel free to contact us if you have suggestions or need assistance with a neighborhood issue.

Your membership in the Riviera Association makes a big difference.  Your support and participation, together with the support of hundreds of other household members, enables the association to help preserve the unique character of our district and improve the safety and beauty of our neighborhoods.  Your support also allows the association to stand up for Riviera interests more effectively at the Santa Barbara City Council and with other government bodies, based on the size and strength of our membership.

As a member, you will get to participate in our spring and fall general meetings and receptions, where you can mingle with your neighbors, enjoy great food and drinks, and hear from local experts and government officials about local developments and issues that impact the Riviera. Your dues will also make possible the association website and the informative newsletters we distribute to all members twice a year.

Membership Options

Annual Membership is only $60 for households or $50 for individuals, and is tax deductible. Volunteer Opportunities

The Riviera Association thrives based on the volunteer contributions of our community members, which enable it to function to the maximum level of effectiveness.  If you want to get more involved there is a need for all areas of professional services.  Please contact us to identify your interest and volunteer your services!
